Aroma has not yet published customer quotes on this site. What follows is the outside record that exists today: a prize awarded by a Japanese industry body, two papers accepted by peer review, a CEO whose patents were filed at another company, and an export that a Japanese buyer paid for.

- 1981 and 1986 Two peer-reviewed publications by Dr. Duong Qua Aita: Canadian Journal of Microbiology, 27(5) 505, May 1981, and Nihon Suisangakkai 52, 1581, 1986.
- 1998 First batch exported from Phan Thiet to Japan, two years after the factory was constructed.
- 2006 Okami food industrial prize of Japan, awarded to the food business.
- Before Aroma Dr. Miwa, CEO, worked as a researcher at Ajinomoto and holds patents in amino acid fermentation.
